3 eggs; 1 onion; 6-9 pieces lard; linseed salt (salt + linseed seeds, 1:1, ground with a pestle and mortar or salt mill); black pepper
An Egg Fried with Lard (Yaeshnya)
Melt the lard on a low heat and add the onion cut into semi-circles. Stir and cook for a couple of minutes on a medium heat. Season with salt and break the eggs into the pan. Add some more salt and cook for a minute before transferring the pan to the stove. Cook at 200°C until the egg white has set (for a couple of minutes). Grind it with some black pepper and serve immediately with fresh bread.
